The author did his research and pulls you right into the historical realm of that city nearly a century ago. As the story builds, Jones' attention to detail keeps you completely engaged and wanting more. The spiritual facet adds spookiness and anticipation to the story. I'm on edge and waiting for the second book of this trilogy!
